Why Rox
Recovery exists.
Most Hyrox supplement content is either US/UK-centric or supplement-brand-owned. Rox Recovery is the AU-specific, editorially independent counter.
The wedge
Search "best Hyrox supplements" right now and the top ten results are either (a) blog posts published by supplement companies featuring their own SKUs, or (b) US publications recommending products that don't ship to Australia. Neither is what an Australian Hyrox athlete actually needs.
Rox is run by Pine Beach Pty Ltd — a separate entity from the supplement brands we cover. We use CollabCart as our e-commerce layer, so every product is genuinely buyable end-to-end with AU shipping.
How we pick products
Every product on this site has been scored against a published rubric — relevance to Hyrox-style training, evidence base behind the category, commission economics, price-point spread, and brand quality. The scoring script lives in the project repo for transparency. Of the 213 products on our supplier platform, 19 made it onto this site.
What we exclude (and why)
We exclude products from suppliers whose audience isn't Hyrox-relevant — for example, we deliberately don't carry the platform's aged-care / disability range. We also exclude any product that needs an accessory or consumable not also sold on the platform: the Replay PRO ice-compression unit (a flagship product on paper) is excluded because the wraps it needs aren't on CollabCart, so a customer paying $288 would discover they had to source the wraps elsewhere. That breaks trust and breaks the affiliate flow.
How we cite
Every health claim on this site links to a peer-reviewed source — typically PubMed, sometimes the journal directly. We use "supports", "may help", and "is associated with" — never "treats", "cures", or "prevents". This isn't pedantry: those words sit in TGA territory in Australia, and we'd rather be precise than persuasive.

"Hyrox" is a registered trademark of HYROX GmbH. Rox Recovery is independent — we cover the sport descriptively, not on behalf of the organisers. Our brand mark, palette, and language are deliberately distinct from the official HYROX identity.
